Bison Cheeseburger Pizza

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cooked bison cheeseburger patty cubed
  • ½ lb. ground bison
  • 6 strips bacon candied, grilled, and chopped
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ red onion diced
  • 5 white mushrooms sliced thin
  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 3 TBSP ketchup
  • 1 tsp Blind Smoked Habanero Hot Sauce or your favorite
  • 2 dill pickles chopped
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 slices smoked provolone cheese
  • Pizza dough
  • Cornmeal for pizza stone

Instructions
 

  • Heat Traeger or another grill to 450ºF. Dust pizza stone with cornmeal. Press the pizza dough to 14 inches and set aside.
  • Brown the ground bison in a skillet over medium heat with kosher salt, black pepper, and diced onion.
  • Combine the mayo, ketchup, chopped dill pickles, and hot sauce in a small bowl and whisk until smooth. Spread this mixture over the base of the pizza dough.
  • Layer the pizza with the smoked provolone slices, followed by the cooked ground bison, then half of the cheddar cheese, bacon, sliced mushrooms, and cubed bison cheeseburger, now the remainder of the cheddar cheese, and finally, apply several lines of ketchup.
  • Grill for roughly 20 minutes, or until the center is bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
  • Let cool on the pizza stone before slicing.
  • Now, it’s a pizza party.
