On your camp stove, heat a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add the ribeye steak and cook until medium rare. Remove the steak from the pan and set it aside.
Add the onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until it starts to soften.
Add the mushrooms and smoked oysters. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from the pan once they are hot.
Turn the heat to high.
Season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides. Sear the steak until browned, about 2 minutes per side.
Cover with smoked oyster and onion mixture.
