Pimento-Cheese Sandwiches

“Good cheese needs good companions. ”

— James Beard

Pimento Cheese is Southern. In this spread mayo and pimento peppers accompany sharp cheddar cheese to create one unique and delicious flavor.

Pimento peppers, also known as cherry peppers, taste just as sweet and succulent as red bell peppers. If you’ve eaten green olives, you’ve had pimentos because those tiny red pieces inside of each olive are actually sweet pimentos.

Our recipe has a few twists on the traditional recipe with extra seasoning and spices to add a little pizzazz to your finesse. Use as a dip for fresh vegetables or spread on bread and crackers for a light spring/summer meat-free snack.
